Rust Player Stats · statement
Terms of use
These terms cover what Rust Player Stats does, what it does not promise, and how you may use the site.
Data as it arrives. Rust Player Stats reads server information from Steam's public Rust server list and from the servers themselves, refreshing every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, use a misleading name or drop its connection, so a player count can lag or miss entirely. What you see is a snapshot, not a guarantee.
No account, no charge. Browsing and comparing servers on the live server list costs nothing and needs no sign-up. Keep requests to a sensible rate; heavy automated fetching slows the site for everyone else. Want a bulk export? Write to hello@rustplayerstats.world and we will work something out.
Bots and crawlers. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers may index the site. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first for what sits where, and keep your fetch rate low enough that ordinary visitors still get fast pages.
If you run a server. Your server appears because it is on the public list. Its page shows what the server publishes: name, tags, wipe times and player slots. To change what appears, change it on the server; most edits reach us within five minutes.
No affiliation. Rust Player Stats is independent of Facepunch Studios and has no connection to it. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
Health and outages. We aim to keep pages up and counts current, but the site is provided as it is, with no warranty of availability or accuracy. Pages may be down, and figures may be wrong.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms at any time. The date below shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

Questions
01Where does the data on Rust Player Stats come from?
Server details come from Steam's public Rust server list and directly from the servers, read automatically and refreshed every five minutes. We do not type in player counts by hand. A server can still report a wipe late or show a stale count, so treat each figure as a snapshot.
02Can I use the data on Rust Player Stats elsewhere?
You can browse, compare and link to anything on the site. For bulk data or a regular feed, email hello@rustplayerstats.world and describe what you need. Automated crawlers should read robots.txt and llms.txt and keep their request rate low.
03How do I correct my server's page?
Every field on a server page is taken from what the server itself publishes: name, tags, wipe schedule and player slots. Change it on the server and we pick up most edits within five minutes. There is no need to contact us for a name or wipe-time change.
